SKY SHOT SINGLEPLAYER & MULTIPLAYER

Sky Shot is my very first game, a simple but engaging experience developed for both desktop and mobile.

In the game, you pilot a spaceship (solo or in multiplayer) and fight against waves of aliens that become progressively stronger and faster, creating an increasingly challenging gameplay loop.

This is just the beginning. In future updates, I plan to introduce new features such as online matchmaking modes (1v1 and 2v2), where players will be able to battle each other instead of fighting enemy waves. These features are currently in development.

The game was built using AGK Studio, a powerful and beginner-friendly engine that allows for solid and scalable game development.

For multiplayer, I developed a custom backend server in JavaScript, currently hosted on my personal VPS. Due to hardware limitations, you might occasionally experience lag or temporary downtime. I’m already working on migrating to a more powerful external VPS to ensure smoother gameplay, better stability, and reduced latency in future updates.

A small fun detail: all the in-game audio was made by me using my own voice. It originally started as a joke to make my friends laugh, but I ended up liking it so much that I decided to keep it in the game. On mobile, the audio is disabled by default.

On the desktop version, you can customize the controls in the settings. You can choose between WASD + Space or using the mouse cursor to move and clicking to shoot.
